Using Clicker Training for Horse Rehabilitation & Stretching
Sadly it seems that we are not yet at Spielberg level cinematography… so these photos will have to do.
See yesterday I took Cucumber out to shoot a quick video… It was about the early stages of clicker training & how you can use fly swats for stretching & rehab.
However it was so windy it sounded like “Hi Guys, aassh hawassh show here is shawarmy shawarmy pssst pssst” and at one point Anthony was accidentally in photo mode instead of filming.
It’s a pity because this was only Cucumber’s third time clicker training and he’s picked it up really well. He’s a recently retired racehorse and is as stiff as a board, so he finds this quite hard work.
What is NOT a pity is the appearance of my nicely accentuated double chins when I’m in concentration mode – so I hope you take a moment to appreciate them.
Clicker training is not a magic bullet that will help every horse in every situation… but it’s a really nifty thing to have in your training toolkit.

The plan is to have some online learning resources soon but it looks like we’ve got work to do on the filming front first.
