Opening in Spring 2023, we will be providing Paddock Paradise style track agistment – ideal for horses susceptible or recovering from laminitis or with metabolic issues.

Created by natural horse care advocate, Jaime Jackson, Paddock Paradise systems aim to mimic the natural living conditions and behaviours of wild horses. This style of living provides a much more stimulating and healthy environment for domesticated horses.

The concept behind Paddock Paradise is based on the understanding that domesticated horses are often kept in confined spaces, leading to limited movement and unnatural feeding patterns.

On a track system, horses are encouraged to walk longer distances, which can help improve circulation, hoof health, and muscle tone. The constant movement and access to forage throughout the track also mimic the natural grazing behavior of wild horses, which can benefit digestion and reduce stress.

Please note this property is our home and sanctuary – not just for us but for the horses under our care…

As such we are protective of our peace and harmony and selective about the horses (and humans) we will accept.

For those people that are ‘on the same page’, we will gladly tailor care packages to suit your horse’s needs.

Pricing Breakdown:

To some the price might seem pretty expensive.. and when I looked at other ‘Retirement Agistment’ prices, I can certainly see why you’d think that.

The difference here is the level of care and resources needed to maintain an excellent standard of care.
